November - 2008

The internet based entertainment and lifestyle portal of What's Happening in Melbourne has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years, with hit counts now averaging over 20,000 per week and growing steadily. The team at WHIM would like to thank everybody for their support and encouragement throughout 2008 as well as a safe and happy Christmas.

October - 2007

We are proud to announce that What's Happening in Melbourne has gone green. Our initiative in this regard is the continued emphasis of our ever popular web site portal, and the stopping of our magazine circulation in an effort to cut down on the unnecessary use of precious environmental resources.

February - 2004

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to everyone from the staff at WHIM, we hope happy holidays were enjoyed by all. A new year brings new challenges and new projects to us and we are very excited to say that this year we will be concentrating on making the website even more comprehensive to compliment our hardcopy editions. Our distribution is increasing, as is our diversity and brand name and this means we can continue to bring you a better way to advertise, discover and enjoy the very best places in Melbourne.

Well, what a hectic start is has been for us this year. We've already brought out two new editions full of more cafes and resturants, clubs and pubs and all the greatest spots in Melbourne. We would like to thank all the Melbourne businesses for contributing and supporting us over the last year and we will continue to honour our promise of bringing out the best Melbourne has to offer, all at the click of a button or the flick of a booklet. Our distribution and area coverage is increasing as time passes and we look forwards to becoming the best we can this year.

Welcome to the What's Happening in Melbourne website. This is a recently launched website to accompany our hard copy publications that are circulated throughout Melbourne. We aim to deliver up to date information on the latest events and inform you about places to go, eat, dance and drink. We have also provided a gallery of distinctly Melbourne photographs that capture the diversity and beauty of Melbourne's streets and gardens.
